The Rope Access Level 3 course is based on the Rope Access Level 1 & 2 training but contains in-depth Rope Access knowledge

  • In-depth familiarisation to the Rope Access environment
  • Advanced legislation & regulations.
  • Advanced equipment construction, use, care & inspection
  • Advanced knots & more complex anchors.
  • Ascending/Descending/Knot Pass/Deviation/Rebelay/
  • Short line transfer/Long line transfer/LOOP/Rescue from ascending device/Rescue passing deviation, rebelay, knots & loop
  • Cableways.
  • Lifting & lowering systems.
  • Permits & various documentation which forms part of the work to be done.
  • Site orientation/safety/arrangement/site files.
  • Rigging of advanced rope techniques for use.

Who Should Attend

Entry Requirements

  • Rope Access Level 2 with proven 1000 working hours.
  • Must be conversant in English
  • Detailed CV & valid first aid level 3 certificate.
  • Motivation letter from organisation.
  • Medically fit to work at heights (Medical certificate).
  • Certified copy of ID & Work Permit.
